Yoga during your Digital Detox Retreat in Donegal, Ireland

Our daily 60 minute yoga session before breakfast will energise you and set you up for the day ahead. During our 4 Days Digital Detox we also offer an afternoon yoga session of 60 minutes on Day 2 and Day 3.

 

Whether you are a complete beginner or at an intermediate to advanced level, our yoga teachers make sure you feel comfortable but also slightly challenged according to your individual needs.

Our goal is to clear your mind and get you to a state of awareness, in order to fully take everything in with this practice. It will ease your muscles from the daily hikes and allow you to release your stress from back home.

The daily group coaching sessions will provide you further with practical tools for your mind that you also can apply after the retreat in your daily busy lives. This is more than just a yoga retreat!

The yoga teacher: Elsa Rodrigues

Hi there 😊 I’m Elsa I’m originally from Portugal and I’ve moved to Ireland in the summer of 2014. 

I believe that the body is built for movement and when we move, we feel good. Movement is natural to all of us, you just need to observe a child, how they love experience their own body by exploring the movement it self.

Somehow, along the way most of us lose this excitement about movement. Yoga can bring it back!

This is one of many reasons I love yoga, the practice gives me a ‘forever exploration’ and permanent discovery about my body, mind and soul. For me growth is forever!

 I always wanted to be a teacher and with the passion that I have for movement it was natural to do a Degree in Physical Education, I started teaching PE and gymnastics in 2005 and a few years later I got interested in fitness and I started to teach classes in Gyms.

I teach yoga since 2012 Les Mills Bodybalance program and did my 250 hours Yoga alliance certified Teacher Training in Samadhi, Dublin.  

 

At the moment I work as wellness program manager at Microsoft promoting a holistic approach to wellbeing amongst the employees.

 

My favourite yoga class style is strong and slow vinyasa flow and hatha. I am also specialized in yoga for athletes and runners. From my classes you can expect challenge, connection, progression, exploration, discovery and a bit of fun! 😊
